Before I even get to the question of whether it’s really worth it or not I just want to tell you that it personally drives me crazy when people post network marketing ads in this section. First of all the rules of Craigslist clearly state that you’re not suppose to so when people do it anyway that’s an issue of integrity.
Secondly, I don’t get why people want to turn a home based business opportunity into a job in the first place! Isn’t the entire point of a home based business that it’s nothing like a job!?
People need to decide for themselves whether they want a business or a job and if they are looking for a job I don’t think it’s right to trick people into calling or emailing only to find out that it’s an opportunity that they probably don’t want in the first place.
I believe that if home based business owners want to become more successful they need to start distinguishing the difference between a job and owning your own business and stop trying to convince people into something that they don’t really want.
There are so many people online looking for work at home opportunities why not go after them and leave the job seekers alone?
Ok, now that I’ve gotten off my soap box I’ll get to the point at hand.
Since I don’t know exactly what your monthly budget for marketing is I can’t say for certain whether it’s right for you. However, if you are like most internet marketers you don’t have a huge budget at least not in the beginning.
If that is the case I don’t believe paying $25 per ad is a very good deal at all! It’s good for businesses who maybe only have to post their ad once or twice but for a network marketer who may have to post again and again to get any real sign ups it is more than likely going to be a huge waste of money.
I mean just post your ad once a week and you’re spending $100 a month! That can really add up! I also know people who have used these ads and not gotten one sign up from Craigslist in a single month.
There are just too many great free methods of marketing online that make the idea of posting in the jobs section of Craigslist totally a bad deal. Stick with free stuff and you’ll be a lot more satisfied!
