Why Your Uncle Fred Hates MLM And Why You Shouldn’t Care!

Let’s face it, a lot of people just hate MLM! Call it what you want, a home based business, MLM, direct sales or network marketing…. There are some people who just hate it all. I’m sure if you think about it you can even think of some family members that hate MLM right? Like your dad or your uncle Fred or your cousin Larry. Well let me tell you why uncle Fred hates MLM and why you really shouldn’t care at all!

He Gave Up Too Quickly - How can anyone really expect to make a ton of money from home in a week, a month or even 6 months!? The truth is that network marketing is a BUSINESS and just like any other type of business it’s going to take time to grow. So many people give MLM a “try” for a month or two and then give up. We’re pretty sure Microsoft or IBM weren’t built in just a month!

He Was Involved In A Bad Company - As great as the network marketing industry is there are some bad companies out there. Uncle Fred may have just been involved in a bad business. I understand being upset about it but you to understand that one bad apple in the bunch doesn’t represent all of MLM in general.

He Had A Bad Upline - One of the worst things someone can do in MLM is bring you into the business and then not be there to help you at all. If uncle Fred had a bad upline the chances of him succeeding are of course lowered. However, just like the last point stated just because one bad person gave him a bad taste in his mouth doesn’t mean that all of network marketing is like that. There are lots of people who will be more than happy to mentor you to success.

He Wasn’t Really Working The System - Sadly the number one reason people fail in MLM is because rather than the business failing them they fail the business! If you’re not doing what your upline tells you to do, if you’re not talking to enough people or if you’re just not trying that hard how can you ever expect to become successful?

So don’t worry about what other people say about network marketing. Just because they had a bad experience doesn’t mean you will. Network marketing is a great way to make money from home. Don’t let bitter old uncle Fred take that away from you!

Finding Your Comfort Zone And Getting Out Of It

Believe it or not even if you’re the most confident person you can think of you have a comfort zone. And more often than not that comfort zone can be holding you back from greatness. So it’s important that you find your comfort zone as soon as you can and learn how to get out of it. When you get out of your comfort zone there is no limit to what you can accomplish.

First of all everyone has a different comfort zone. Some people hate talking to strangers while other people don’t mind at all. Some people could sell anything to a stranger but hate trying to sell their friends or family. Whatever your particular comfort zone is it’s important to discover it and then leave it as quickly as you can.

Who knows exactly why we’re afraid to do certain things. Maybe we just care all too much what people really think of us. Maybe we just don’t want to make a mistake. But when you’re trying so hard not to make a mistake you usually don’t take very many chances and that’s a sure fire way to never reach your goals.

Business is all about taking chances, big, giant, sometimes even costly chances. None of the great companies in the U.S. would have been created without people who were willing to step outside of their comfort zone and take some chances. Maybe you’re not trying to invent the next Google or Microsoft but just the same you need to start taking more chances and getting a little uncomfortable if you really want that truly mind blowing, unbelievable success.

Don’t be afraid to go out on a limb… that’s where the fruit is!

Leave your comfort zone behind and start breaking new ground in your home based business. Remember, it’ll only feel uncomfortable until the money comes rolling in!
