MLM: Do You Have A 5 Figure Only Mindset

Eagle PointImage by Philerooski via Flickr

So many articles about MLM or network marketing are written about mindset. That’s because when you’re building a business nothing can be more important than what’s between your ears. Your mind can either push you on to greatness or hold you back in a serious way.

In this article I want to talk about your income potential. Do you believe that you’re worthy of making 6 or even 7 figures from home? Or are you like the millions of other people who believe they’re only ever going to be 5 figure earners?

There really isn’t anything wrong with setting a goal in the 5 figures. After all if you’re making 20, 30 or even 40 grand a year making 50, 60 or 70 thousand is a good place to start. However, what’s so great about network marketing is that the earning potential is truly limitless. If you knew you were capable of making $100,000 a year there is no way you would set your goal for just $50,000.

Once you are able to wrap your head around the idea of making a huge amount of money from home you will be able to achieve it. It’s been said that if you can dream it you can do it and I believe that that’s true. So if you aren’t in a place where you can really imagine yourself making that kind of money you’re never going to get there.

I encourage you to dream the way you use to when you were a kid. Think about what it is that you really want. Whatever it is that you want a home based business can help you reach that goal and even exceed it.

What makes network marketing so wonderful is that regardless of your current income, your education level or your background you can become wealthy from home. A job could never give you that type of freedom. At a job your boss determines how much you make or if you’re worthy of a raise. But a home based business will set you free of all that. You’re in control of your financial destiny!

So don’t be afraid to set those big goals because no matter how big they are a home based business can help you reach them!

All about Multi Level Marketing

Internet users by country (%) / English Versio...Image via Wikipedia

MLM is popular on the Internet as a way to earn an income. Many people are being enticed by it every day and most do try it out. What is MLM? Let’s learn a few things about it in this article.
MLM stands for Multi Level Marketing. It’s basic concept is all about building a network of people (called a downline) and earning money from them. Of course, to build a network of people under you as a sponsor means you have to promote a product or a service and get them to sign up by promising a good income return in exchange. It is a simple concept and most do get the right idea about it. Clearly, the income of a sponsor increases as the network of people under him also increases. Most of the time, the increase in earnings is huge if he and his downline work hard to make the business work.
There are a wide variety of Multi Level Marketing programs out there and they differ from each other in a number of ways. Basically, the differences of one program from others mean that they implement different kinds of systems as to how people can generate money from their downline. One difference is with regard to the levels a person can achieve by being a member. These levels determine how much income a sponsor can generate from his downline. Some programs only offer a few levels while others seem to have so many. However, the fewer levels there are, the harder it is for one to reach one level. Another difference is about allowing a downline to rise above its sponsor, which some programs do while others do not. Normally, they do not present problems but sometimes it matters when a sponsor becomes lazy and stops working and just lets his downline do everything. There are cases where a business suffers because of this so it is worth noting.
Anyway, those who are gearing towards MLM as a regular source of income ultimately will need to efficiently promote the opportunity to other people through different ways available in the Internet. This is hard work for many because it is tough to talk to anyone and convince them to join your cause, even if the cause promises a huge amount of revenue. People are just being careful. With money talks, most tend to want to avoid risky deals especially in a world where some resort to fraud. It is not easy to gain trust from other people but it is possible at least. Sponsors thus need to continue to build trust with the people he wants to be in his downline and keep on striving to do hard work for the benefit of everyone and not just himself. To do that, he/she needs to have passion and the right mindset. Having the passion means that the sponsor enjoys doing the business while having the right mindset means that he/she must be the first to show that the business plan is something he truly believes in.

Things to Consider for Your Home Based Business

Internet Explorer 5Image via Wikipedia

Different kinds of home based business are available on the Internet today, and they are tempting as the ability to earn money comfortably from home is an idyllic situation most of us dream of. It is possible; we have heard and read of many success stories from everywhere. Many have prospered from going online and working at home. Some businesses more successful than others, with the success depending on several factors like company track records of the home business you are applying to and effortlessness of learning the trade.
If one is looking to start a home based business, the first thing to do is to seek proof of the business being genuine and it’s ability to pan out. There are lots of online opportunities out there in the Web but, unfortunately, not all of them are profitable to get into. There are also scam sites that target those who are not careful. The chance to run into these kinds of businesses is high so it is necessary for one to look for proof first before signing up. It is essential for a businessman to be cautious. Reading reviews from various blogs and doing an extensive background check of the company would help. It is good that most of the things that we encounter online have been tried and tested and that many people like to share what they found.
Another consideration in finding the suitable online business for an individual is finding the opportunity that is simple to use. For those who do not have the experience and are just starting, the business plan should be easy to implement. For sure, too many details often make a business hard to manage and the individual might get lost in all the complexity. The newbie should start with a straightforward business and then move to more complicated things when they feel they can handle them. It is better to start small and grow from there than to start big and eventually lose the business.
Fun is another important thing. One should have it while going along with the business plan. The reason why many people end up disliking a business even if it is at home is because they are only doing it for the money. To generate income is of course one of the goals of setting up a business but it is no good when you don’t exactly enjoy what you’re doing. Eventually, people with this mindset will get tired and lose interest and the business will suffer. Doing what is enjoyable and earning enough at the same time is much better as the business will grow further as time goes by. There are a variety of business plans on the Internet so better to find the one which is gratifying to do.
Ultimately, one does need to rush in finding the right home based business. Checking out the existing options first and then decide which of them is probably worth it. Study, work hard, and soon the rewards will come.

Network Marketing Business Opportunity-Some Great Ideas

Sunset SquaredImage by ecstaticist via Flickr

Due to the global financial crisis, a lot of people are finding a break to earn money when they were fired by their respective companies. And do you know that some of these chance seekers have found their means of earning cash with the network marketing business opportunity.
But one shouldn’t just pick the company with the highest offer or the best privileges. An individual shouldn’t also pick the opportunity that first comes on his or he way. In order to get the perfect opportunity that fits you, you must do the following ideas.
Here are the dynamics that a network marketing business opportunity must possess:
A good product- If a product is needed and is easy to sell, then you would earn money rapidly. As the marketer, it should be easy for you to convince the people that the product is an everyday necessity. If you think that you cannot give justice in trading that specific product; then you should find another one.
A debtless company - Of course, you must be sure that the company has a clean record since a company with debt may go bankrupt upon paying the amounts that it owe; this will also mean that it may not pay your efforts once you have accomplished your task.
A supportive management team- It is really inspiring to work if the management team you are under is very supportive. At least if you would encounter some problems, you have a reliable team that can answer your queries and can help you solve your dilemmas about the networking business you are in.
A crystal-clear system- If the company has a systematized structure, then everyone would have clear ideas on where they will be designated and how will they get their perks and income.

So go ahead and search the perfect network marketing business opportunity for your self.

Pitfalls Of Free Home Business Opportunities

World's best home business?Image by Sunfrog1 via Flickr

Free home business opportunities offer an exciting way for people to experience working online and are especially useful for those who are new to online business and looking for ways of earning a little extra money.

Is it possible to make your fortune using free home business opportunities? Well, the genuine response to that question is no, but it is possible to still have fun whilst buffering your bottom line.

How Much Can You Earn?

The amount of income you can expect to generate from starting a business from home isn’t going to be large. The fact is, when you begin it is going to take a while for you to even get offered jobs. If you look at your business as a method of earning a little extra money that can supplement your main income and go towards car loans or your mortgage then you will find this is a very rewarding business to be in.

Free home business opportunities are quite simple. Some of the most common are referred to as surveys. The amounts of money you can earn is dependent on a number of aspects such as where you live, your age, your sex, and your personal preferences.

Once you start to complete online surveys for a set period of time it is quite possible for you to be generating between $100 to $1000 a month. You need to keep in mind however, that reaching four figures is going to need a lot of patience and a lot of surveys.

How Much Do You Pay?

You pay nothing to complete surveys. The companies who conduct these surveys are after your opinion on how they run their business or on their products. You are not the one seeking information from them and therefore you don’t pay a thing. Never pay money to complete a survey as that is not normal practice. Why look to earn extra money when you are spending your own money in return. It doesn’t make sense.

Be very careful of companies who charge for information on paid online survey websites. The fact is that you can obtain identical information for nothing online.

How Much Information Should You Give?

This is a bit of a grey area. If you give up too much information when you sign up you put yourself at the mercy of scammers. You would do well to stick to key information such as your location, age, and sex. These details are fairly safe and mean that when the surveys are sent out and matched to your demographics you’ll get some work.

You should never give up personal information and always be on your guard for companies requesting any financial information from you. This is not required and you should steer well clear of any company asking for this kind of unnecessary information.

Free home business opportunities have received bad press over the last few years and there is a good reason for this. Unfortunately, genuine programs have been bundled in with the scams and not so genuine opportunities, but if you have enough patience you can make yourself a nice amount of extra money.

Make Financial Goals Part Of Your Business Vision

PeacefullnessImage by orvaratli via Flickr

Failure to accurately see the financial future of your business is one sure way to make sure it cannot succeed. Before you even begin to write your business plan, regardless of the type of business, you will need to have an accurate vision of what your personal financial needs will be once you start your own venture. You cannot base you needs on your current earnings, as there are other factors to calculate into the total such as health insurance, business licenses and other business-related costs.

While some of the costs will be one-time fees or will represent annual costs, other will be monthly and some cases weekly. The first step is to determine what you and your family needs to meet your obligations including rent or mortgage payments, utilities, food and typical household expenses. If your spouse is the one handling the family's financial affairs you will need their input in determining your minimal monetary needs.

Once you have that in writing, you can begin estimating business costs. Even though you are setting up an office in the home and plan to take a business use of the home tax deduction, you should still consider the portion of the rent and utilities that will be represented by your tax deduction as a business expense. For example, if your month;y mortgage payment is $1,000 and you can allow 10 percent of house expense as a deduction, then plan on $100 being spent on your place of business.

The same should be planned for utilities and other costs, including a telephone line. Even though you probably have a home phone, a separate line for the business is a good idea to prevent interruptions at home after hours as well as to keep children from answering the phone when a potential client calls. It just sends a more professional message when the business phone is answered in a business manner.

Conservative estimates can be a good starting point, but you will also need a contingency fund in the event of an unforeseen repair or a project that gets out of hand and costs more than anticipated. Once you have gong through the home and business expenses you will have a good idea of how much money you have to bring in through the business to maintain your family lifestyle and meet your business expenses.

Now it is time to seriously think about the projected income of the business. Remember it is not only the business expenses you need to cover. For example, if you anticipate personal expenses of $1,500 a month and business expenses of $500 a month, anything less that $2,000 a month is going to leave you with some unpaid bills. If the business you are planning to open is not capable of delivering that amount of income, you may have to rethink your prospects.

Even if the potential is there for a minimum of $2,000 per month, you will need to be realistic about how long the business will need to be operating before that level is achieved and determine if you have enough money to survive until it does grow to the necessary level.

How Can A Business Keep Everyone Happy?

Austrian Alps VertoramaImage by Ash Lourey via Flickr

A market downturn can take the luster out of a growing business and end any glory days it may have experienced, but even more devastating to any business is the effects they reap when they try to make the wrong segment of its fans happy. While privately-held companies often struggle for funding, going public may not be all that it is cracked up to be either.

Once the shift has been made to a publicly traded status, there is another bunch offer the business owner advice on how the run the business. They are called shareholders and to many businesses can be dark cloud blocking the sun on their future. When things are going good and shareholders are earning good returns, they tend to stay in the background silently collecting their dividend checks. When an even occurs that may cause a loss of revenue, some shareholders are the first ones out the door, placing blame on everything and every body.

Earnings expectations are the darling of the investment community and companies that meet or exceed their earning are praised regularly. They may escape massive criticism for failing to meet one quarter's earning projections, but two in a row can be a death knell for a business. Unfortunately, the fallout from missed earnings and the wrath of the investors usually fall on two places that have the least amount of control over the business's operations and are the affected the most…customers and employees.

As unwise and unfair as it may be, when companies are struggling to turn a profit, the logical step is to cut expenses, to bring them inline with income to maintain the profit margin. One of the quickest ways to reduce expenses is by cutting payroll or benefits, leaving the business short staffed with unhappy workers who have to work harder for possibly less benefit. When a business lack the manpower to properly take care of the business, customer service suffers.

This circle can be likened to a buzzard circling dying prey in the desert. Sales have gone down, expenses have been cut resulting in fewer workers, resulting in less customer service, resulting in fewer customers, resulting in even fewer sales. Sometimes businesses need to just bite the bullet and live with a small loss over a short period, depending of course on the circumstance that caused the downturn and continue to give customers a reason to visit their business.

If the customers remain and sales can improve, the earnings will return and the growth path continues. However, in some cases the business may deserve to die, if the leadership of the company is not taking care of business when they have the chance. As a business owner it is important to recognize the needs of the customer and the employees as opposed to always looking after the wants of the shareholders. The owner needs to consider how pleased the shareholders will be if the customers stay away in droves and the business closes. Keeping customers happy should be their main concern, as well as the concern of the shareholders.

The Key To MLM Lead Generation

Automated constructionImage via Wikipedia

Too many network marketers are looking for the quick and easy solution to MLM lead generation. In fact, the search is well and truly on for the big red magic button but the truth is, it's still a fairytale.

Believe it or not people actually believe they do exist. But do you really think this is going to build you an MLM business with a solid foundation that will hold its own? It is pretty much guaranteed that this will not happen but yet people still flock to them and join and then sit back and wait for the money to roll in.

You can have some automation of the business but it cannot be fully automated. A business that is to be run fully automated is rarely possible. There are many aspects of MLM that need your personal attention if you want it to keep earning you an income for years to come.

An MLM With The Hands On Approach!!

So now you have discovered that some of it can be automated. But, some of it just cannot be. Let’s look at two very important areas that cannot be automated and need your vital attention.

1) MLM lead generation cannot be left to others. If you want to guarantee yourself the best leads, untouched by others and targeted then you need to be generating them yourself. You have to forget buying leads because they are expensive, will burn a hole in your pocket and in a nutshell, are unresponsive.

Buying leads means you have no control how they were sourced or whether others have already used them. Are they fresh? Are they targeted? Are you likely to get a "mouthful of abuse" when you contact them because you are the fifth person to call them lately about a business opportunity.

2) Relationship building is a vitally important step in the building of the MLM lead generation process. There is absolutely no way to put relationship building on the automatic button. It may very well be done in the not too far off future but cannot be done today.

Relationships are built on trust. Your people will look to you for guidance and teaching. There is no way something like this can be fully automated. In a sense, the interactions you make with your downline, whether they are face to face, by phone or email are the glue that will keep your foundation from crumbling to the ground.

Using Fear As A Motivator For Your Network Marketing Internet Business

The TreeImage by Fr Antunes via Flickr

The best motivator out there for growing a network marketing Internet business is the fear of never achieving your goals or failing. The aspect of fear is extremely helpful and can motivate you.

Many of you are probably thinking that you have heard this before and that it may not work for you in the long run.

If you are serious about earning a serious income from home you must be fear motivated or you struggle to make progress. This is why the aspect of fear can help to motivate people to succeed.

You may be thinking that the suggestion to use fear in your network marketing Internet business is a little far-fetched. This is not the case, but you should always try and challenge yourself so that you can use the aspect of fear to you advantage.

Using Fear

The best example of fear is the story of one of my upline. He had reached a stage in his life where he had to make a serious decision. This man was currently then in his 40s and worked extremely hard his entire life. The funds that he had saved up for his retirement were not going to be enough to cover the rest of his life and he began to panic.

You see, he was thinking about how he would let his family down. He pictured himself on retirement day facing his family and apologizing to them that he had done his best but this was all he had to offer them holding out his retirement funds plan slip.

What this did was motivated him into action and when he started his network marketing internet business he used this image constantly as his prime motivator. This story is a good example of using fear to motivate you because he used this fear to motivate him to make even more money in the long run.

After a couple of years this man was one of the top 10 distributors in his MLM company. He attributed his drive to success by simply using that image on retirement day and it scared him into action he may not have otherwise taken.

This image of his family being let down made him become extremely motivated to creating a very successful network marketing Internet business. This is a perfect example of how the aspect of fear can help motivate us to reach our goals.

3 secrets to making money online with PLR

MangrovesImage by Kounelli via Flickr

Have you ever heard of PLR? PLR stands for “private label rights” and it has to do with articles on the Internet. When you do your research and know how to properly use PLR articles, you can actually make a good amount of income. Before you dive head first into PLR articles and marketing, learn all you can and then try your hand at it.

As with any type of job, there are ways that you can fail and succeed. There are ways you can use your PLR articles to your advantage. Once you get a good grasp on these type of articles and how to market them, then you are on your way. Here is a closer look at 3 secrets to making money online with PLR.

If you have ever thought about working from home or earning money online, then perhaps PLR articles may be right for you. This is especially true if you are patient and have realistic expectations. You cannot expect to make thousands overnight. It just doesn’t happen that way. The people that do well using PLR articles do understand that and they work hard to make their articles work for them.

First of all, the one important thing you should know about PLR articles is how they work and how they can work for you. When you use PLR articles, the most common way to make money with them is to purchase the articles yourself and then resell them to clients. You can often purchase your articles for a very low price and then sell them to clients who need certain types of articles for their own use. When you buy PLR articles, you will focus on articles that you think can help you make money. They may not be the most interesting articles, but they are the ones that clients are looking for. Consider keyword articles and rich content that sells well.

The next secret to making money online is to several low priced PLR articles that relate to each other and put them together in an ebook. This will take some work on your part, but if you know how to market your ebook, you can quickly turn a profit. This is a very popular way to make money using PLR articles and once you get the hang of doing this, you will find it quite easy and profitable.

In addition, when it comes to using PLR articles, you might want to consider two other options. You can purchase related PLR articles and then combine like-articles in packets and sell them to clients. This often works out well when you can find clients that are looking for a highly specialized topic. They may have a need for 50 articles that are about pet care or about health care concerns. If you have these articles to offer, you can make money. Another option is to take your PLR articles, rewrite them and then sell them as different PLR articles. This is a great way to make money online.

Five Reasons to Earn Income from Home

If you’ve entertained the idea of earning income from home, you are not alone. Everyone from stay at home moms to college students is joining the bandwagon of earning the primary income right from home, even when that’s a dorm room on campus! In addition to these ‘small fish’ in the work market, there are also plenty of high-end executives and workaholics who have converted to be a part of the work at home movement. What are some of the most important reasons to work from home?

1. Freedom! Many people work from home in order to have the freedom to set their own working hours, their own dress code and their own office politics. Of course, this also means having relative freedom to take vacation days when you want and the opportunity to accept or to refuse work that arrives. In an office situation, the work that lands on your desk is usually required of you, but when working from home, you might have the option to accept or to refuse jobs.
2. Commute: The lack of a commute is a great reason to work from home. In terms of convenience, many people have always preferred the work at home option, but now with gas prices through the roof, many people who hadn’t at first entertained the idea of working from home are now becoming fast friends of the option. Even a short commute of 10 miles each way tends to add up over the weeks, both in time spent en route and money spent on gas.
3. Taxes: Working from home can have tax advantages or disadvantages, depending on how many of your expenses can be written off and how well you work out the income of your business. Working for yourself can prove to be a big tax break, but first you have to know how and where to look for the deductions that working at home legally provides. Only deductions that you’re aware of can end up saving you money. Get a good tax man if you’re considering making your primary income work from home.
4. Time: Many people who work from home report that they have much more time for their family or friends. Setting your own working hours can mean having the freedom to work not only when you want to, but also the amount that you want to. Even if you don’t take a vacation one week, it’s possible to work six hours a day instead of eight if it’s a week that you need more free time. These hours can either be made up the next week, on the weekend, or not at all since you’re the boss!
5. Opportunities: The internet is growing fast and the ways that exist in order to earn an income on the internet are multiplying. This is a great market at the moment, but could change directions in the future. It’s always a good business tactic to be one of the early, established, businesses instead of being one of the new ones trying to compete with the established ones. The more workers and businesses there are on the market, the fewer of the opportunities will be coming your way, and the smaller your income will be.
