There once was a time not all that long ago when buying a ton of expensive MLM leads and dumping them into an auto responder was most peoples idea of internet marketing. Some people to this day still believe in this method of marketing as well as buying huge lists of phone leads and calling people 24/7.
However, with the internet and everything that it has to offer many people believe that these old methods are tired and should be cast aside. So there is the question. Is it better to do 100% free marketing online or spend some money on leads in the year 2009?
Which method really works the best and which one is right for you. To buy leads or not to buy leads that is the question.
Since everyone has their own opinion of what the best kind of marketing is it’s hard to get a definitive answer on the subject. However, here is what I have learned through my experience and I feel it will work well for just about everyone.
My opinion is that you should do the free marketing methods first. This is because when most people come into a home based business they don’t have a lot of money to invest at first. It’s better to do as much free marketing as possible and the internet is chock full of great ways to market for free!
After you’ve got some sort of good income coming in it is your choice whether or not your want to continue to do the free marketing or pay money to buy leads or do both. However, If the free stuff is working for you it seems just plain silly to give it up altogether.
So do what is best for you but don’t think you have to buy leads in order to have success working from home. There are many good solid methods out there that will help you find success no matter what your budget is!
