All joking aside if you’re one of those people who have been thinking about starting to work from home for years and years I have a question for you. If you don’t do it right now when will you ever?

That’s a pretty serious question because so many people spend so long thinking about getting started that they never actually get around do doing it. If you want to start working from home there has never been a better time to do it.

Lets face it. The economy is in the toilet and it’s not getting better nearly as fast as people would like. People are still losing their jobs and the people who have their jobs aren’t getting as many raises and certainly don’t have all the benefits they’d like.

If you do happen to be one of the few people who has a great job with great benefits you’re probably working yourself silly. So if now isn’t a great time to start working from home when will you?

If you want to change your life you have to change what you’re doing, mix things up, take a chance on something that can change you life forever!

So what is it going to take for you to make a decision and start living your better life now? Because I’m going to tell you something that might sound pretty blunt. If you’re not willing to do it now you’re never going to do it. If you’re now willing to do something different in the worst economic crisis or our lifetime you’ll never be willing to do it.

Take a leap of faith and do something that you’ve been dreaming about from your cubicle for years. Become your own boss, make way more money, spend more time with your family and start working from home today.

It seems like these days the economy is on everyone’s minds. People are looking to the president right now and desperately want him to fix the problem with our economy. Now I’m not saying that a boost in the economy wouldn’t be nice but if you really want to make more money, feel secure and live a better life you need to stop looking at Obama and start looking at yourself. This is America the land of opportunity, and if you want a better life you’d better go get it!

It seems like people are looking to the government for more and more these days. However, the real winners in this world don’t look to the government they look within themselves. There are so many great opportunities out there if you are really looking for them.

America is set up with two different types of people. The employees and the business owners. And if you fall into the employee category you’re at the mercy of the economy, your boss, and probably lots of other people. When you’re a business owner you are able to take a lot more control over your life. You know that if you want to make more money all you have to do is work harder and you can make it happen. When you have a job you work harder and maybe, MAYBE you’ll get a raise. Although, the chances of that are very slim!

I have already made the decision that I don’t want to be a slave to the economy, the government or my job. What about you? How much more free could you be if you decided to take control of your life by becoming a business owner instead of an employee.

The government can’t fix your problems, it’s true. Even if the economy gets better when you have a job you’re still going to be dealing with the same old problems. Too much month and not enough paycheck. Too many things you want to do and not enough time to do it in! When you work for yourself you can do what you want, when you want, and actually have the money to do it!

Stop being a victim of the economy and take control of your life this year! You don’t have to be a slave to your tiny paycheck anymore!

What Is Your Home Based Business Motivation?

Probably one of the biggest differences between people who succeed and people who fail in home based business is motivation. Simply put, if you don’t have really good motivation to succeed in a home based business you probably wont. That’s because building a business from home can be really hard.

There are going to all kinds of bumps in the road and if you don’t have the proper kind of motivation you’re probably not going to make it. So before you do anything else with your home based business. Or before you even start a home based business. It’s a really good idea of ask yourself: what’s my home based business motivation?

If you think you know what your motivation is let me stop you right there and tell you that your motivation should never, ever be money! If the only thing you have in your sights is a dollar amount you probably have about a 99% chance of failure. That’s because even though money is a huge motivator it’s not enough! It’s what you would do with that money that’s really going to keep you going!

Would you quit your job and take your kids to Disney World? Would you build your parents the house of their dreams? Would you finally take that trip across the globe? Would you give more money to your church? Whatever it is that you would do with all that money THAT is your motivation not the money it’s self.

More often than not your motivation has to do with people rather than possessions. Because even though everyone wants to live in their dream home no house can be more motivating than the idea of spending more time with your kids or grandkids. Try to think of the most emotional, and most personal reasons for succeeding in your business. Those are the things that are going to ensure that you succeed no matter how many road bumps you encounter.

Do yourself and your business a favor, before you do anything else get a pen and paper and write out the top 10 things that motivate you to succeed in your business! It might sound silly but this will help you more than you can ever imagine. Pull out that piece of paper anytime you don’t feel like working or you want to sit on the couch and watch t.v. rather than make a few more calls!

What’s so great about a job anyway? That’s the question that’s been on my mind recently. I understand that jobs are what allow us to uh… buy stuff and live but there are other ways of making money that don’t include nosey co-workers, a boss, a stinky break room or a commute. I’m talking of course about working from home and anyone who has experienced the type of freedom that comes with working from home knows just how great it is and why if you’ve ever really gotten a taste you’d never want to go back to your job!

For those of us who are blessed enough to be happily unemployed the world is all about living. It’s not about barely getting by or trying to make time for our families it’s about doing what we want to do when we want to do it.

Jobs can be good if you’re doing something you’re really passionate about but for most people in America you’re working just to get a paycheck, and a measly paycheck at that.

That’s why building a home based business is so amazing. It allows you to work for a little bit and play a whole lot. Not to mention the fact that when you’re your own boss you’re free to make as much money as you want! You don’t have a boss telling you what you’re worth or that maybe you’ll get a raise sometime down the road you can give yourself raises! Isn’t that a concept!

Once it’s gone it’s gone. Little Leslie will only be 4 for one year and Adam will only have one first baseball game and once it’s over baby it’s over!

What To Do During The In Between Stage Of Your Business

Men, you are more than welcome to read this article. However, it’s really the ladies I’m talking to for the moment. You know that annoying stage when you’re trying to grow your bangs out (see I told you this was just for the ladies) and they’re too long to be bangs but they’re too short to do anything else with? It might be the most frustrating thing ever, at least when it comes to hair.

Ok guys now you can jump back in. I want to talk to you about at frustrating in between stage in your business when you’re making money just not as much money as you need to quit your job or to really be satisfied. That might just be more frustrating than the hair thing!

So what are you suppose to do when you are making some money in your business just not enough? Here are a few tips that will help you to blow the lid off of your home based business and take it to the next level. Remember just like the bangs it will take time, but this should help speed up the process.

Mix it up. If you’re doing the same things day in and day out to build your business you might just need a change of pace for a little bit. Consistency is good but sometimes doing the same thing all the time can make you less effective. If you work mostly in the evenings try working in the morning. If you market 100% offline try adding in some online marketing strategies. Just mix it up!

Work a little longer. If you’re use to working 15 hours a week try adding just one extra hour every day to your daily business routine. It’s a small compromise that can pay off big time. Plus the more you work now the less you’ll have to work once your business really explodes.

Call in some favors. If you have those friends who’ve never gone to a meeting with you or won’t talk with you about your business see what you can do to get them some more information. Don’t bug people or push them into anything. But if they’re really your friend they should be willing to at least watch an online video or a DVD. Chances are you already have people in your life who would be interested in the business or your products if they really had more information about them.

Have you ever met someone who is constantly tooting their own horn? It can get really annoying. However, sometimes the person is so good and telling people how great they are that people start to believe them. People always want to re-invent the wheel but really why would you bother? It’s a million times easier just to look at someone who is already having success and follow them than invent your very own new system for success don’t you think?

So listen to the people who already know how to have success and ignore the rest. You and your paycheck will be glad you did!
