If you’re in network marketing and you plan to market it on the internet there are three things you absolutely must have. An account with Ezinearticles.com, a great looking website and a killer blog. Once the blog is created you’ll need to market the heck out of it so it gets lots of traffic but this article will only focus on the creation of your blog from start to finish.

Concept

The first thing you’ll need to do is come up with the concept of your blog. Do you want it to be for stay at home moms? People who have been in MLM before? Professional men and women looking to work from home?

Name

Design

This is the part where you might need to spend some money. A boring cheap blog will make you look boring and cheap. If you’re going to spend money on anything regarding your blog you might want to think about hiring a really good blog designer.

Their prices will vary and you can find one that will fit your budget but what you don’t want to do is have great content in a boring looking forgettable blog. This will ensure that your readers never come back!

Content

So now that your blog looks the way you want it to it’s time to add content. This is what slips up a lot of people. I can’t tell you how many network marketers don’t update their blog because they say they don’t have anything to talk about. Here are some ideas. Talk about the struggles of building your business and what you’re doing to overcome them, talk about your dreams and goals, talk about new methods of marketing that are really working for you.

Personal Information

Your blog is suppose to be personal. Think of it sort of like an online journal. You should talk about vacations you go on, things you’re working on with your business, and even laugh about mistakes you’ve made in the past. The more personal you are with your readers the more they will begin to feel like they know and truly trust you.

Updating

Once you’ve created your blog and posted your first blog post the only thing you have left to do is update. Updating your blog every day is a little silly. However, not updating enough can be a real problem. To be truly successful with your blog you should update about 3 times a week. Perhaps Monday, Wednesday and Friday or whatever days work best for you. Never leave your blog without updates for more than a week!
