4 Reasons Why You Should Never, Ever Use Your Company’s Website!

Almost all network marketing companies provide their independent business owners with company websites that have their name, email and telephone number on them. Whenever I see one of those poor souls sending prospects to their company’s website it makes me cringe. If you want to get really serious about making money online you’re going to need a better website.

Your company website should only be used to sign people up. Never as the first impression a prospect gets of your business. Here are the top 4 reasons why you should never use your company website.

1. Information Overload!

Almost all company websites have a bad case of information overload. These websites want to tell prospects everything from the compensation plan to details about all the products to company policy.

When dealing with prospects simplicity is key! The prospect doesn’t need to know everything about everything on the first glance. Sending them to a more focused and simple website with income testimonials and a really good video will be much more effective.

2. No Domain Name!

Sub domains stink! www.TheNameOfMyCompany.com/Bob is just simply not as effective as www.MyDomain.com. It’s not easy to remember and it makes you look like an amateur. If your prospect doesn’t know anything about you beforehand they defiantly won’t be impressed after you send them to a sub domain.

3. No Personality!

A company website doesn’t show off your personality. At best all it has is your name, maybe a small picture and a phone number. That’s not enough. You want your website to look like YOU. A company website simply can not do that for you.

4. No Way To Capture Information!

The most important reason why you should never use a company website is that there is no way to capture your prospects information. You always want to have an opt in form where they give you their name and email address before they get the good info. That means that if they go to your website and don’t sign up right away you can still market to them via email. If you don’t do this you’ve lost them forever.

That alone can cost you tens of thousands of dollars!

Now that you know the truth you never have to lose sales to a crappy company website again. Create a memorable and effective squeeze page and start signing more people up instantly!
