If you want to be successful online you must above all things be original and creative! I say this because people online are so use to being advertised to and if what you’re doing is boring or doesn’t stand out it will get overlooked and you might as well not have even done it at all.
Just go on Youtube for example and type in “home based business” in the search bar. A countless amount of videos will show up and after you watch a few of them you will very soon feel like they’re all starting to blur together. Oh sure a few here and there will stand out but for the most part it all sounds like “blah, blah, blah…sell, sell, sell”.
Nobody likes to feel sold and they certainly don’t want to feel sold by someone who is trying to copy someone else.
A video, an article, a blog post or anything else that you do online should allow your own individuality to show through. That means stop trying to be someone you look up to and start being more like yourself! It also mean that you should get excited! Who wants to join a business with someone who looks bored to tears in their videos!
When you think of the best marketers they are the ones who A) are completely and unapologetically themselves! B) Excited and passionate about whatever they’re doing and C) Are willing to step out from the crowd and do their own thing.
Also, go with your strengths when you’re marketing online.
That means that if you’re really exciting and dynamic do a lot of videos. If you’re more on the shy side you might think about focusing on things like articles and blog posts. And if you have a larger budget each month you might think about paying for online ads. Bottom line: do what will work best for you, not what you see everyone else doing.
Be an original online and you’ll have a ton more success in your internet marketing. Learn from others but never copy them. You have everything you need to become successful inside of you!
