Why Your Motto Should Always Be: Progress Not Perfection!

When you’re trying to reach a goal in your home based business you might feel like you have to do everything right all the time. However, you don’t have to be perfect all the time to have huge success working from home. One of the things you need to focus on is progress… not perfection.

Perfection means that you never get to make a mistake and if you do you beat yourself up about it again and again. Progress means that you get up every day and try and make yourself just a little bit better than yesterday. When you’re trying to lose weight you can’t just go from eating like crap to eating perfectly healthy all the time.

If you try to do that you will eventually fail. What you need to do is first take out the fried food. Then once you’ve done that you can eliminate soda, then after that you can limit your soda. If you do this before you know it you’ll be much healthier and because you did it gradually you’ll get to keep your sanity. This is the approach that we need to take to building our home based business.

You need to take baby steps each and every day to get better and better at your business. You’re going to mess up along the way. You’re going to have days when you feel like you aren’t doing anything right. You’re going to have times when you think you’re so far away from your goal that you’ll never get there. But if you’re taking one day at a time and working on small things you can do to improve along the way you’ll be much happier and you’ll get a whole lot more accomplished.

Maybe you need to work on feeling more confident on the phone, maybe you need to work on better time management, maybe you need to learn how to market online. Whatever you’re struggling with or working on simply take baby steps each and every day that bring you just a little bit closer to where you want to end up. Mistakes will be made along the way, you’re never going to be perfect.

Just remember when you’re building your home based business. It’s progress…. not perfection that will get you to your ultimate goal!
