Here are a list of a few people who we tend to blame for our failures…
We blame… our upline!
When we’re not seeing enough success in our business one of the easiest people to blame can be the person who brought you into the business. We have a tendency to believe that since they introduced us to the business it should be their full time job to make sure that we succeed.
However, when you really think about it. You are the CEO of your own business! It’s your job and your job alone to make sure that your business succeeds. Of course they should be there to help you but even if they aren’t… it’s YOUR business and your business alone. Take ownership of it!
We blame… our boss!
Sometimes when we’re trying to build a business while keeping a full time job it can seem like we just don’t have time to do it all. What you have to remember is that your boss is a business person just like you are. And they have to take care of their business. Yes it stinks when it makes you work late again but he has to be in charge of his own business just like you have to take charge of yours.
We blame… our spouse!
When things aren’t going so great your spouse or boyfriend or girlfriend can be one of the easiest scapegoats. Don’t blame the important people in your life for the failures in your business. It can be hard to have an unsupportive spouse but you should be working that much harder to prove them wrong and make them a believer! A business isn’t worth having tension between you and your spouse!
We blame… ourselves!
But you say wait, I thought you said we should blame ourselves?! No, I said you should look deeper at yourself. Blaming yourself is a totally different thing. If you’ve had failures in your past you have to let that go if you want to have success in your future. Stop beating yourself up over every little thing! Examine yourself but don’t blame yourself for every little thing that goes wrong. No good will ever come of it!
Quit playing the blame game and start out on the path to true success in your home based business!
